The Advent festivities in Zagreb were an opportunity for the presentation of winemakers Citrus, Rogić, Raak, Voštinić – Klasnić, Agro Maleš, Tošić, PZ Masvin, Jokić, Sokač, Jakopić, Peršurić, Miklaužić and Slovenian Istenič with sparklings. Once again along with wines guests tasted prosciutto from Drniš by Agro Maleš and fine cheese from the Pag dairy, while the wine and delicacy tasting went along with inspired music by the duet Small Change, made up of singer Ana Lovrenčić and guitarist Eduard Jimmy Matešić.
A novelty in the Advent spirit was the Photo Corner. Organisers invited visitors to photograph themselves and publish on social media with the hashtag #ZgWineMusic, while authors of the most interesting works were awarded with bottles of wine.
Once again it was shown that such mini festivals are a hit, as the audience is very interested in the theme – they want to taste wine, talk to winemakers, learn something and try always something new, all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Wine & Music tastings offer all of the above. This is confirmed by winemakers, which gives organisers an incentive to continue.
Winemaker Ana Peršurić Palčić from the Peršurić winery, known for their Misal sparkling wines, presented for the first time. “This was our first time and it truly is great. Fine, moderate, with good timing. The audience is somewhat different than usual; I had the impression the guests were there to try something new, not just to visit another wine fair. The organisation was great, the music also very nice. What I liked the most was the lack of horrendous crowds and people could walk normally, taste and talk. We personally like these events more, smaller ones. Congrats to Eno Expert for the organisation,” said Ana.
The Eno Expert company’s team is made up of Miodrag Hruškar, Krešimir Hren and Jelena Puh Miloš. They deal with wine consulting and education, starting their Eno Expert Academy three years ago, divided into a Wine Lovers School and Specialised Programmes. The Eno Expert team is already planning the next Wine & Music gatherings with new themes, inviting interested wine lovers to register with the Eno Expert Academy and broaden their wine culture or catch up on the material.
