There are various wonderful options when it comes to shopping for groceries on Hvar. There is the green market and fish market to be found in some extend in every city (even smaller villages) on the island during the summer. There are several butcher shops on the island and for the rest of the groceries, you can visit one of the supermarkets. Here is the full list with opening hours:

Hvar town
There is a large supermarket (Konzum) right behind the bus station at Dolac. It is close to the green market and fish market and there are 2 butcher shops there as well. There is another supermarket (Studenac) at the Main Square and there are several other options off the city centre:

Stari Grad
The largest supermarket is located at the ferry port (Tommy). Other smaller ones are to be found opposite the bus station (Studenac) and in the city centre next to the former Volat shop (Tommy) and on the Riva (Studenac). There is one butcher shop on Riva and another one opposite the kids playground next to the new Volat shop.

Jelsa
The two biggest supermarkets are located next to the bus station (Konzum and Ribola) with the butcher shop just behind the corner and another smaller supermarket opposite the gass station (Studenac), it is as close as a shopping area can get in Jelsa. Another 2 shops can be found in the centre – a smaller one at the waterfront (Konzum) and another one in the library building behind the fish market.
