Two days of presentations, workshops and awards ceremonies
According to the press release received today from the Croatian Ministry of Tourism, this years event Days of Croatian Tourism will be held on October 13 and 14, 2015 in Poreč.
This event is a traditional gathering of tourism workers and organisations from across the country. Workshops and panels of this year’s edition will he held in the Laguna Parentium hotel in Poreč and in the Valamar Isabella hotel on the island of Sv. Nikola, just few minutes off the coast of Poreč while the annual awards ceremony will take place in the Žatika sports centre.
During those two days, industry peers will discuss the results of the 2015 tourist season and announce main activities for the preparation of the new season 2016. Furthermore, HTZ and the Ministry of Tourism will present, for the first time, prepared action plans for the development of special forms of tourism which are all based on the Tourism development strategy by 2020. One subject that will be in the focus of everyone’s attention this year is the so called “sharing economy”.
Google will also hold a very interesting workshop and presentation entitled “How internet availability is changing the face of modern tourism” on Tuesday October 13th starting at 17:30 while the new “Croatia Full of Life” campaign will be presented on Wednesday, October 14th at 9:30.
