June the 20th, 2023 – The Croatian company Djuro Djakovic Specijalna vozila has contracted a brand new job totalling 4.2 million euros.
As Poslovni Dnevnik/Suzana Varosanec writes, Specijalna vozila, a company within the wider Djuro Djakovic Group, has contracted the production and delivery of Shimmns TTU freight wagons in the value of 4.2 million euros with GATX Rail Europe.
Delivery is planned for later this year
“The delivery of the wagons is planned for the third quarter of 2023. Shimmns TTU wagons are 4-axle covered wagons intended for the transport of sheet metal coils, primarily in the automotive industry. Such sheet coils are placed in stands equipped with a specially designed fastening mechanism. The sheet metal coils are protected from all meteorological and environmental influences by a movable tarpaulin system,” explained the Zagreb Stock Exchange notification released by Djuro Djakovic.

With this project, Djuro Djakovic Specijalna vozila has confirmed its commitment and strategic orientation towards the development and production of special-purpose and high-performance wagons. It has showcased precisely this with the use of new generation production equipment with which the company is currently rounding off its development and production processes.
