August the 15th, 2023 – Studenac pop-up stores have appeared in various locations along Croatia’s Adriatic coastline this summer. Here’s where you can find one, and what they offer.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, it’s been less than one year since the opening of the very first Studenac pop-up store at the beginning of August last year in Novigrad. Now, Studenac has developed and upgraded its innovative concept and expanded it to a total of nine locations along the coast this summer.
Studenac pop-up stores have now been opened in Rabac, Dramlj, Zaton near Zadar, Selce, Opatija – Ičići, Krk, Vis, Zadar and Tribunj.
What do the Studenac pop-up stores offer?
One of the prominent features of these new Studenac pop-up stores is a carefully selected assortment based on their popular TO GO offer and packaged products designed for quick consumption. The range includes bakery products, fresh fruits and vegetables, premium delicacies, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, various types of snacks and sweets, as well as non-food products such as cosmetics, hygiene items and pet food.
This popular pop-up format is an example of the synergy of the local neighbourhood convenience store format, coupled with innovation and sustainability in business. These pop-up stores fully follow the principles of a neighbourhood store that is close when it is most needed, and it also fully adapts to the needs of the micro-community and enables customers to find what they need at any moment in a very short time.
The local convenience store, in a different format
It could be said that the pop-up store raises the neighbourhood store format to a higher level, because it is a mobile object that moves according to the needs and fluctuations of local people and instantly meets the needs of the community at any given time. The sustainable aspect of the development of this type of sales network is based on the fact that pop-up stores don’t intervene much in an urban sense where they’re located, respecting both the natural and urban environment. They do all this while simultaneously satisfying the community’s need for products and services.
Temporary pop up stores are extremely popular across the world and represent a significant and growing trend in the retail sector.
