March the 28th, 2024 – The Rimac Energy UK adventure has begun as Mate Rimac opens a brand new British complex in Oxfordshire, spanning 1,850 square metres.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, advanced battery energy storage systems (BESS) are now being made by the innovative company Rimac Energy, at the helm of which is Croatian entrepreneur and serial inventor Mate Rimac. Rimac Energy reported on Tuesday that it has now officially opened a new 1,850 square metre facility in Witney, Oxfordshire, in order to house its rapidly growing British team.
The brand new Rimac Energy UK facility will produce the next generation of BESS and will create more than 70 highly skilled jobs for engineers, technicians and researchers for the UK technology industry and the Oxfordshire region. The above was stated by Rimac Energy, which is part of Rimac Technology, which is part of the wider Rimac Group.
“The United Kingdom has always been at the very forefront of technological innovation and we are absolutely delighted to be expanding our presence here. We’re proud that we’re able strengthen the partnership between Croatia and the United Kingdom”, said the director of Rimac Energy, Wasim Sarwar Dilov, on this occasion.
The Republic of Croatia and the United Kingdom have had very strong and friendly ties for many years now, with more and more business connections being made between these two European nations. Despite Brexit, the UK does continue to be at the forefront of innovation across many fields, and Mate Rimac has clearly recognised this massive advantage by putting down roots on UK soil.
