USA-Croatia 2:2
After a game between USA and Croatia on October 20, 2015, which ended with the final score 2-2 and a share of points, Group A of the FIFA U-17 World Cup is still wide open.
Croatian team pulled a miracle to come back in the 2nd half from being 2-0 down. After several misses early in the game by the Croatian side and some impressive goal keeping by William Pulisic, Cristian Pulisic scored for the US team in the 20th minute and Brandon Vasques raised to 2-0 five minutes before half-time. Croats didn’t give up, Karlo Majić scored in the 65th minute for 2-1 and Luka Ivanušec scored the equalising goal in the 77th minute of the game and it was only fair since both teams had their fair share of chances but it was the Croatian side that was in control in the final stages of the game and were very unlucky not to find their third goal just seconds before the final whistle first hitting the post and then the crossbar.
Croatia’s next match is against Nigeria on Friday, October 23rd.
