November the 27th, 2024 – A large sum totalling 43 million euros has been secured for Zadar County projects, including tourism infrastructure and much more.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the implementation of key investments across Zadar County, for which 43 million euros have been secured, should begin in the coming year.
The above was announced Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds Šime Erlić earlier on this week during a meeting between County Prefect Božidar Longin and various mayors and other local leaders. The financing has now been secured, and it is up to local self-government units to reach the stage where they can actually apply for the tender, withdraw the money and start with actual construction work.
Supported hilly and mountainous areas have until the end of the year the opportunity to apply for tenders for firefighting, cycling and tourism infrastructure. This encompasses Zadar County projects worth up to two million euros each.
The financial structure is now closed for Zadar County projects involving sports infrastructure. This primarily refers to the planned Olympic swimming pool in Višnjik, as well as to sports fields with their accompanying facilities in Poličnik, Škabrnja and Bibinje, and in 17 to 19 schools and school halls.
Through the Integrated Territorial Programme 2021-2027, 25 million euros have been secured for investments on Croatia’s many islands. These investments include DVD Pašman, the Arhipelogos University Centre on Molat, the high school on the island of Pag, and the Fortress of St. Michael in Preko.
