November the 29th, 2024 – How to start a campaign a few steps ahead of the competition, and what secret weapons you can expect in the upcoming election cycles, are just some of the questions that will be answered by political expert Krešimir Macan and digital strategist Marijan Palić.
In today’s political environment, the success of a campaign depends not only on the experience and strength of the party option, but also on the ability to properly set a strategy, use digital technologies and build a strong political brand.
Campaigns that use political marketing successfully shape messages that resonate with voters and make the difference between victory and defeat. As the first of its kind, the educational concept “Build Campaigns That Win”, which will be held on December 11th by political expert Krešimir Macan and digital strategist Marijan Palić, will provide participants with specific tools for the successful organisation of political campaigns and the creation of a winning strategy in elections.
This duo stands behind dozens of successful political campaigns, the protagonists of which are still active in the public sphere today.
“A political campaign is not just a collection of speeches and events, but a precisely and long-term planned process, where every decision must be aligned with the ultimate goal – winning the trust of voters. Politicians often contact us a few weeks before the election cycle, when I most often have to disappoint them with the conclusion – you are too late for a serious campaign,” said Macan, adding that this was precisely the motivation for him to join this format of education. “I expect that each participant of the education, after acquiring the skills, will come to his political party and raise the level of communication and reflection on his political moves.”
In his more than 30-year career, Krešimir Macan has advised several prime ministers from Croatia and the region, the president of the Republic of Croatia, and a large number of party leaders in as many as six countries in the region. Marijan Palić, one of the leading domestic digital marketing experts, who, with often limited budgets, contributed to winning three mayoral mandates and implementing digital strategies during two parliamentary cycles, emphasises that this is a unique format.
“Participants will work on real case studies, from campaigns in Croatia to global political events. Through practical guidelines and interactive modules, they will learn how to plan a campaign, target voters, use video marketing and build the strength of a political brand. Krešo and I will discover how to start a campaign a few steps ahead of the competition, but also what secret weapons you can expect in the upcoming election cycles,” explains Palić.
The education is intended for politicians, political parties, advertising agencies, political operatives, political advisers and campaign managers, political journalists who want insight into campaign deliberations, but also for everyone interested in what goes on behind the scenes of political campaigns. Investing in education is not only a step towards success, but also a key tool for political upheavals, the lecturers emphasise. The unique educational concept that Macan and Palić will offer in Zagreb on December the 11th will provide participants with the foundation for setting up campaigns that produce results, and you can learn more here.
