For the first time in history, company recorded 10 million passengers
Croatian national ferry company Jadrolinija has every reason to celebrate these days. On October 30, 2015, in their port in Valbinska they recorded their 10-millionth passenger in 2015 which is a historic success considering this is the first time Jadrolinija passed the magic 10 million number in one year.
Symbolic ceremony was attended by Igor Butorac, assistant to the Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, CEO of Jadrolinija Alan Klanjac, President of the Supervisory Board Pavao Komadina and the entire crew of the ferry “Brač”. 10- millionth passenger, Marko Letić from Lošinj, an ambulance driver who often uses ferries to help islanders in need, received a return trip and accommodation on any of Jadrolinija’s international ferry lines.
Croatian national ferry operator has a fleet of 49 ships: 37 ferries, 9 catamarans and 3 passenger ships, operating along the Adriatic coast and between Croatia and Italy.
