When Croatian wine mixes with Californian art.
Croatian wines are turning up at more and more places in the US these days.
Several artists from California spent a week in September painting on Hvar island in Croatia, at a retreat organized by Zdravko and Marion Podolski of GoHvar. The artists decided to put together some of their work from Croatia at Viewpoints Gallery in Los Altos on November 6, 2015, to celebrate the week of friendship, food and wine, and of course, the art.

From there it was a perfectly natural step to invite Blue Danube Wines, who are also based in Silicon Valley, to pour Croatian wines at the opening reception. It would appear the word got around, as there were more than double the usual attendees at the reception.
