For the 5th year in a row, the Sinj tourist board organises an educational event Tourist in your own town. This year it will take place on February 20, 2016 and all interested will be able to joint the city tour of Sinj.
According to Ferata.hr, as an initiative of the World Federation of Tourist Guide Assocation in Vienna, the International Day of Tourist Guides is being celebrated on February 21.
This year, there are planned 2 guided tours – at 10.00 and at 15.00. Meeting point is the Šetalište Alojzija Stepinca and the tour should be of an average duration of 1,5 hours. Each group will be guided by the members of the Association of Tourist Guides of Sinj Town Osinium.
The main goal of this free educational campaign is to popularize the historical and cultural heritage of the city as an important factor for tourism development in Sinj, but also to raise awareness of its importance in the society as a whole.
