If you’ve always wanted to have your own church, now’s your chance to buy one.
It’s not every day that a church goes on sale, and on May 4, 2016, a classifieds ad appeared on Index oglasiwhere along with a real church you can also buy a house and the entire estate for 50 000 EUR. The estate is located in Gornja Vlahnička near Velika Ludina in Moslavina.
“FOR SALE church with a house and 1h estate. The church can fit 50 people (30 seating and 20 standing)”, the ad states.
The owner said that the church and the estate have been in her family since 1964 and she decided to sell it after her parents died “The church is included in the package. There are two land plots and since the church is on both of them, they are sold together.” she explained.
The church was built back in 1938 and it is a real traditional village church where you ring the bell by pulling the rope. The house is typical for Moslovina and it has two tool sheds on the same land plot. “The house can be moved or you can live in it. It has 100 square metres and three rooms. I am not quite sure what its original purpose was, it was already there when my parents bought it” the owner added.
Last but not least, even though the whole estate is listed for 50 000 Euros, the price is negotiable. And yes, all the papers are in order.
