This is a great opportunity to visit all the important places in this region: the Old Town in Mostar, Počitelj, Blagaj, Mogorjelo and the fortress in Ljubuški.
First stop is Ljubuški and the Franciscan Monastery Museum in Humas, the oldest museum in the country, established in 1884. The Museum is home to one of the finest collections of ancient relics, found in the vicinity of the monastery. After that, you will visit the famous Kravica Waterfalls with its crystal-clear water.
Next – Počitelj, a real, open-air museum and a UNESCO heritage site and a popular place among artists who come here in search of inspiration. It was first mentioned in 1444 but some documents show that it was built in the late 14th century.
After that, you will continue your ride towards Mostar and stop at the Serbian Orthodox Christian Monastery of the Annunciation of the Mother of God, built in 1566.
Next stop is Blagaj, a magnificent place where a Dervish House lies on the source of the Buna River.
Finally, you will reach Mostar, the city of poetry and narrow stone alleys, where you’ll visit the Franciscan Church of St. Peter and Paul, the Old Bazaar, the Turkish House, one of the many old Mosques and the city’s most famous landmark – the Old Bridge.
After the guided tour of the town you will have some free-time for strolling around, browsing among the many old craft shops or having lunch at one of the picturesque local restaurants.
