Tourist Who Died on Hvar Named by British Media

British media name the young tourist, just 20, who died on the island of Hvar on May 26, 2017

As previously reported, a young British tourist died has died on Hvar, having been found unconscious outside a Hvar Town nightclub. The Daily Mirror has more information on the identity of the young woman.

“The family of a 20-year-old British woman who died after she was found in a coma outside a club in Croatia said she will be “loved and missed always”.

Sarah Lee-Anne Reid, from Magheraknock, Ballynahinch, in Northern Ireland, suffered cardiac arrest while being transported in an ambulance after being discovered at 9:30pm on May 26.”

Local sources are reporting that the young woman was a diabetic, and that she had not been taking drugs, as initially reported, but that the alcohol had reacted to her medication
