Longing for that summer beach and the salty air of the Adriatic? Murter Tourist Board brings an evening of Adriatic magic to Zagreb.
With a few months still to go to what is set to be another bumper tourist season in Croatia, thoughts are turning to lazy days on the beach under azure skies along the Adriatic coast, and one tourist board in particular is bringing that message directly to old friends and new on February 19, 2016 as the Murter-Kornati Tourist Board hosts an evening of tradition, cuisine and entertainment, in association with Konoba Karaka at the Green Gold Centre in Zagreb.
The evening will showcase various aspects of the region’s tourism offer to the important domestic market. While international incoming tourism is the most important in terms of numbers, a sizable percentage of Croatia’s capital decamps to the Adriatic coast for the summer, and evenings such as these are an opportunity to plant a seed of summer in cold winter minds. Murter and the Kornati Islands are one of the most important sailing destinations in Croatia, whose charms include natural sandy beaches, magnificent traditional “Latin sails”, and the Nero and Vezpazijanov ancient city Colentum.
The evening will include wines and seafood delicacies prepared by famous chef Zoran Jajac Bizon, with a full Murter Kornati entertainment programme including traditional music. The Evening of Murter will take place at Green Gold Club (Radnička 52, Zagreb), starting tomorrow night at 20:00.
Tourist board of Murter-Kornati and taverns Karaka in Zagreb bring a touch of summer. After a series of courses of seafood delicacies and wine (pate, carpaccio, tuna, mullet, mackerel, smoked ham, tapenada, mussels …) prepared by renowned chef Zoran Jajac Buffalo, to music and fun part – the summer will never be closer.
