The award was given on the basis of positive assessment by visitors.
TripAdvisor uses its certificate of excellence to reward excellence in tourism. It gives the award only to those tourist facilities that deliver the quality of service to their customers and, for a period of at least one year, receive outstanding traveller reviews, reports Poslovni.hr on June 25, 2017.
TripAdvisor, the world’s largest tourist travel and accommodation website, has recently given the award to hotels which belong to the Lošinj Hotels & Villas brand by Jadranka Group. Vitality Hotel Punta and Family Hotel Vespera have been proud owners of the certificate since 2013. The certificate was this year again awarded to Wellness Hotel Aurora, after having the certificate for four years in a row, from 2012 to 2015. Facilities which received the certificate this year also include Bellevue Hotel, Boutique Hotel Alhambra and the Lanterna Grill restaurant.
“The recognition received by the members of the Lošinj Hotels & Villas brand is the best confirmation of Jadranka Group’s investments. They are also a testimony to the outstanding work, constant efforts and commitment of all our employees, and therefore we consider this latest acknowledgement to be very valuable indeed. We are particularly pleased with the satisfaction of our guests, which is why we strive to be as good as possible and every day undertakes significant efforts to make their stay on Lošinj as enjoyable as possible,” said Goran Filipović, a member of the Jadranka Group board of directors.
In addition to providing travellers with travel planning and booking services, TripAdvisor offers advice and a diverse selection of tourist facilities around the world. Operating worldwide, it reaches an impressive number of 340 million visitors and 350 million reviews a month. It covers 6.5 million tourist accommodation facilities, restaurants and attractions.

It also operates four campsites on the islands of Lošinj and Cres, while its commercial arms deals in wholesale and retail trade and also includes a central food preparation facility.
Ever since it was established, Jadranka has been the largest enterprise of the Cres-Lošinj archipelago, providing employment to many local residents, and has remained one of the main development drivers in the region. It is the tourism and retail market leader in the archipelago.
Jadranka has over 500 permanent employees. Considering the seasonal nature of its business, the group also employs around 700 seasonal staff during the season, mostly in the hotel business.
