More love for Croatia in international media, this time on TV!
Jason Pires, co-anchor of the CTV Morning Live Vancouver, praised Croatia in one of the recent morning shows after having spent two weeks on the Adriatic coast. Pires talked about Dubrovnik, Split and Korčula; he called Croatia “a stunning country” and ranked it in “his top three”.
He shared a couple of personal photos taken during his visit to Dalmatia with his girlfriend Anita who has Croatian roots. One photo shows him trying to do a ‘split in Split’ (and failing miserably), another is a snap of burek with Korčula in the background. Here’s a quick tip for Mr Pires: Konzum is one of the absolute worst places to get burek, so try asking some of the locals for recommendations next time!
Pires brought a few souvenirs for his co-host Keri Adams: some lavender soap, the popular Bajadera chocolates and šljivovica, the plum brandy that’s well liked all over the region.
The video has already been viewed more than 176.000 times, and it can be rightfully called great promotion for Croatia as a destination.
