Shakespeare would be proud of this couple!
When the works of the famous English playwright William Shakespeare come into question, there are usually three responses, the first is confusion, the second is appreciation and the third is the notion of romance. If we’re dealing with the third, then William will be very proud if he is somewhere up there looking down at the man who decided to pop the question to his partner last night on the most beautiful stage in the world, Lovrijenac.
As DuList reported on the 5th of July 2017, while the truly immaculate performances of one of Shakespeare’s most famous plays, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, takes to the stage at the beautiful Lovrijenac fortress in Dubrovnik, one man decided to use the opportunity to propose to his better half, and of course, she said yes!
On top of an ancient fortification, with the view of Dubrovnik’s breathtaking Old City lit up against the night sky, the backdrop of the beautiful Adriatic sea and in the audience of one of the most romantic (albeit a bit confusing) Olde English plays of all time, what could be a better scene for such a question?
