Baby Sea Lion at Zagreb ZOO Ready for Visitors

The ZOO’s youngest inhabitant was born on June 19

After a three-week isolation period, Zagreb ZOO visitors can finally see the ZOO’s youngest inhabitant – a Californian sea lion pup, born on June 19.

Although the zookeepers haven’t revealed whether the pup is a male or a female yet, they have it on good authority that the dad would be thrilled if his fifth pup was a daughter, after having four sons.

We know for sure that it is healthy and happy and enjoys spending time with his mum and dad, Edith and Zagi.

The pup has impressed everyone with its swimming skills.

When it’s finished swimming, it likes to spend time cuddling with his mum.
