Croatia’s Most Beautiful Race? Who is Ready for Hvar Half Marathon 2017?

Feeling fit and enjoy a challenge in the heat? 

the 7th Hvar Half Marathon takes place on August 19, with the traditional route from the old town of Stari Grad to the finish on Hvar Town’s central plaza, via the old road between the two towns. Yes, THAT old road, the one that climbs from the ferry. A little hairy to drive for some, it must be murder to have to run up its sharp ascent. But there are more and more who do each year, and the Hvar Marathon has become a popular international event in the island tourism calendar.

So if you are on the island and would like to take part, registration is open until August 18, the day before the race. It starts in the early evening at 17:30, so you will avoid the fiercest heat. 

And no matter how many marathons and half marathons you have done in life, you will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful route.
