Zagreb restaurants which have been included in the Michelin Gourmet Guide for 2017 are Agava, Apetit City, Bistro Apetit, Boban, Dubravkin Put, Gallo, Le Bistro Esplanade, Mano, Mundoaka, Takenoko and Zinfandel, who can all now boast the prestigious recommendation of one of the most important restaurant guides in the world.
The Michelin Guide has awarded 34 Croatian restaurants with the so-called Michelin plates, who, according to anonymous inspectors, serve good and simple food, while the one and only Michelin star in Croatia has been awarded to Monte Restaurant in Rovinj.
“Eleven Zagreb restaurants recommended by Michelin have for many years been Metro partners with whom we share philosophy and passion for culinary perfection and top quality products. We are extremely pleased that Michelin inspectors have recognized their quality and we are proud that cooperation with Michelin’s Guide has enabled us [Metro] to become part of the success of top Croatian restaurants,” said Roberto Mancuso, CEO of Metro.
