Another week, another raft of flight announcements for Croatian skies in 2018. An overview of the latest announcements on December 28, 2017. 

The Poles are coming to Kings Landing! Not one, but two new routes connecting Warsaw to Dubrovnik.

LOT will commence operations with three flights a week from May 3 until October 26, moving to 6 a week from July 1. More information on Avioradar. They will be joined by a weekly charter between the two destinations from June 4 to September 29, operated by Small Planet.

The Germans are coming to Zadar! Ryanair’s presence at its favourite Croatian airport will expand to include a new service from Bremen, with two flights a week from July 2 to the end of August. And there is even better news from Lufthansa, which will be connecting Zadar to the world via Frankfurt twice a week from April 28 to October 27

Wizzair seems to be satisfied with its London Luton service to Split, and it will begin its route to the Dalmatian capital three weeks earlier in 2018. The daily service will run from May 30 to September 16

Dutch interest in the Adriatic is also increasing. As ExYuAviation reports, KLM will increase its weekly rotations from Amsterdam to Split from 8 to 10, while there will be new routes for Rijeka from Eindhoven and Dubrovnik from Rotterdam with Air France-KLM subsidiary Transavia. Transavia will also add an extra flight from Rotterdam to Pula, and it has also expressed its interest in connecting Pula and Zagreb to France in 2018, although no firm announcements have been made. And finally, in the latest piece of good news connecting Croatia to the rich potential markets of the Far East, Croatia Airlines and Asiana have inked a codeshare agreement. Both members of the Star Alliance, the partnership will offer connections to Frankfurt, London and Paris via Seoul or Seoul via these European hubs to Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik, reports Nacional.
