Zagreb to Celebrate Chinese New Year

ZAGREB, February 12, 2018 – Zagreb will mark the Chinese New Year with a number of activities on 12-16 February, including the EU-China Light Bridge project, which is the contribution of the Croatian capital to the EU-China project, the EU project promoting EU and China tourism in 2018, the Zagreb Tourism Board (TZGZ) said on Monday.

The TZGZ organised the activities with the City of Zagreb and the Chinese Embassy to Croatia. Chinese are the most numerous foreign tourists in Zagreb. The number of their arrivals last year rose by 37% on the year and the number of overnights increased by 25%, the TZGZ said. These activities will also promote Zagreb on the European and the Chinese market, the TZGZ said.
