Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are the first DJ duo to ever rank no.1 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have been confirmed for the upcoming edition of Sea Star Festival in Umag, reports Glas Istre on February 20, 2018.
The Belgian DJ and record producer duo of Greek origin hasn’t left the upper echelons of the global EDM scene for years now: they ranked no.1 on DJ Mag’s EDM Top 100 list in 2015, becoming the first DJ duo to ever top the list. They ranked no.2 in 2014, 2016 and 2017, leaving behind EDM giants such as Hardwell, David Guetta, Tiesto, Calvin Harris, Avicii and Skrillex.
The two brothers appeared as Tommorowland hosts four times, making the festival anthem for each edition between 2010 and 2013. Two years later, the third edition of their annual live show Bringing the Madness in Antwerp saw 40.000 tickets sell out in under 40 minutes, with the fans burning through an additional 20.000 tickets as soon as the duo introduced a third date. They’ve also broke the record for the biggest EDM solo act in Germany with an audience of 45.000, and their gig at Exit Festival 2016 in Serbia had the colossal Dance Arena completely packed with delighted fans.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are joining other confirmed acts such as Hurts, Robin Schulz, and Ofenbach. Sea Star 2018 is taking place at Stella Maris in Umag from May 24 to 27 – early bird tickets are available here at a price of 259 kuna.
