Islamic Community Organises “Religion and Politics” Conference

ZAGREB, April 21, 2018 – A two-day international conference called “Religion and Politics” started in the Islamic Centre in Zagreb on Friday, bringing together 35 scientists who will talk about the relationship between religion and politics.

The president of the Muslim community Mufti Aziz Hasanović said he was happy that the Islamic Community was organising this interesting conference for the 25th time.

He also expressed satisfaction with the fact that the European Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Bosnian Academy of Sciences and Arts had joined them.

“We do not want to bring politics into religion or religion into politics, but we want to make sure that everyone is doing their job for the well-being of all,” Hasanović said.
