A new, interesting and innovative concept, combining gastronomy, music and street art
This summer many things are a changin’ in Korčula, and one of those is the change at the legendary location just by the Korčula Old Town, that has had a restaurant for decades, but this year a whole new, fresh concept is entering that location, and the opening is taking place tomorrow, on June 15th 2018.
The new restaurant is going to be called The Supper Club, a brilliant new concept combining good food, good drinks, high quality music and interesting interior design. Located very near the Old Town, right by the East port of Korčula, it will certainly attract a lot of attention by the guests going through the town – especially the ones embarking or disembarking the catamaran literally 30 meters from the restaurant.
The idea driving the interior design, as well as the design on the roomy terrace, is urban street art: inspiring signs, street graffiti, colourfull lounge chairs, hanging industrial lamps, all of those details contribute to the overall appearance of the restaurant.
And, since it is a restaurant, it’s important to say a few words about the food which will be served there. Mason burgers, created by chef Ivan Zidar, owner of the franchise with that name, are the item that stands out. Those burgers were named the best burgers in Croatia in 2017, a franchise which started in Pula and has since won over most of Croatia, now for the first time coming to the south of Croatia for a longer time. Those burgers are made from a three-week dry aged beef, and using the special brioche bun with secret recipe, and amazing set of combinations of various added ingredients. They will not be offering only burgers, some top steaks will also be available, as well as great pizza selection, made by pizza master Toni Profito.
And, of course, to go with exclusive food, you need exclusive drinks, and you will have the choice of exquisite summer cocktails, selection of gins and many other summer drinks. To complement the food and the booze there will be excellent dance music, as the club plans to host many international house DJs, and one of those guests appearances will happen on this Saturday night, starting at 10 pm, where you can expect fabulous atmosphere and music by DJ Kosta Rapajić from Belgrade and Golden Saxophone Jakša Jordes!
The address of Supper Club Korčula is Kralja Tomislava Square 2, and it’s sounds like a concept that shouldn’t be missed!
