One of the biggest cultural events in Korčula, established in 2018, to take place in Korčula and regional locations near it in September.
Opening night of the festival will be on September first, and the following 17 days on Korčula will be dedicated to the baroque music.
This year again the line-up of the festival includes the most prestigious international and domestic ensembles and soloists performing Baroque music. International guests will include Helsinki Baroque Orchestra from Finland, Cracow Royal Singers from Poland, Les Musiciens de Mademoiselle de Guise from France, Canzona from the United Kingdom, Poul Høxbro and Bolette Roed from Denmark, and renowned soloists: Hugo Hyman, Sreten Manojlović, Kajsa Dahlbäck, Anabela Barić, Helen Charlston, harpsichordist Laurence Cummings and conductor and harpsichordist Aapo Häkkinen.
Of course, almost all of the significant Croatian artists performing Baroque music will also be on Korčula, including Vocal Ensemble Antiphonus and the resident ensemble of the festival, the Croatian Baroque Ensemble under the artistic direction of the director of Korkyra Baroque Festival and world-renown violinist Laura Vadjon.
