Zagreb to Host Pioneers of the Balkan Finals for Startups

200 000 EUR investment up for grabs for best startups in the region

Zagreb will host the big final event of the first regional competition for startups, Pioneers of the Balkans, on December 3-4. This event was founded by the renowned Pioneers start-up conference from Vienna in cooperation with the World Bank, European Commission and several investment funds. So, if you’re a startup, have an innovative product in your SME or are still working on the next big idea from your own living room this is your chance to showcase your talent and maybe get a chance to negotiate a 200 000 Eur investment from a dedicated fund.

Because of overwhelming interest, organisers have decided to extend the application deadline until September 4th, all information on how to apply and participate can be found HERE.

 

Semi-finals will take place in Belgrade November 12-14 when a jury of experienced investors and entrepreneurs will decide which projects will make it to the top 50. Throughout the selection process, mentors and pitch coaches will be available to help each team get in perfect shape for the finals in Zagreb where finalists will get a chance to meet over 100 carefully selected investors.
