The manifestation “Advent in Sinj” has been officially opened last night at the Alojz Stepinac Promenade.
According to Ferata.hr, the Advent festivities, opened by the Sinj mayor Kristina Križanac will be available until January 6, 2016 and many will be able to enjoy mulled wine, home-made liqueurs, sausages and sweets (fritule). Great music for the festive atmosphere was provided by bands Ljuta Kuća and Anarhiv. On top of that, there was a Christmas show of the Sinj Majorettes and their guests held at the Town‘s cinema.
The mayor Kristina Križanac expressed satisfaction with the first days of the Advent celebrations and wished to all people of Sinj and Cetina region and their guests to spend many pleasant moments at the Sinj Advent.
“Our citizens will be able to enjoy the gastronomy and music in a beautiful Christmas spirit on a daily basis. I really hope, that they will have a great time gathering, because the Christmas time is the one when the togetherness and the community is very much highlighted. I wish to all citizens to have fun and to take the best memories from those moments at our first Advent in Sinj home with them,” said Križanac.
