Getting around Dubrovnik by Taxi

Taxis in Dubrovnik are known to be a bit expensive (especially on Sundays or holidays), but they offer professional and reliable service. From Lapad and Babin Kuk to the Old Town or the main bus station / ferry port is approximately 80 – 100 Croatian Kuna, to the airport 280-300 Croatian Kuna.
The starting price is 27 Croatian Kuna with 9 Croatian Kuna per kilometer, though Plavi taxi (Blue taxi) offers a starting price of 18 Croatian Kuna and 6 Croatian Kuna per kilometer.
Since taxis cannot enter the Old town, there is a designated pick up and drop off location at the Pile and Ploče gates.
