The internationally sought-after soloist and recitalist is coming to Dubrovnik this summer!
The man who possesses a talent which has been awarded on numerous occasions, such as as ”Serbia’s Artist of the Century”, ”Most Humane Person”, and ”Brand Personality of the Year”.
This Serbian-Italian violinist is regarded as one of the greatest violinists of his generation, having appeared on mulptiple occasions in some of the world’s most celebrated venues such as Carnegie Hall, New York City (USA), Kennedy Center, Washington (USA), Cadogan Hall, London (UK), Suntory Hall, Tokyo (Japan), as well as Italy’s theatres La Fenice, Venice, San Carlo, Naples, and Petruzzelli, Bari.
His numerous appearances with an orchestra include: the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, the Aspen Chamber Symphony, Helsinki Philharmonic, the NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of Radio-France, the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra, the National Orchestra of Belgium, Mexico State Symphony, Orquestra Sinfonica de Estado de Sao Paolo, and the Melbourne and Queensland Symphonies. He has also performed under the baton of such conductors as Sir Neville Marriner, Lorin Maazel, Vladimir Fedoseyev, and Daniel Oren.
This summer Milenkovich is invited to Dubrovnik to be part of the ”Caboga Stiftung” initiative which hosts some of the greatest players of classical music in the world in the 16th-century Bunić – Caboga Summer villa.
Milenkovich will teach a violin course that includes three individual violin lessons, as well as six group violin lessons for each participant, accompanied by piano. On the last day of the course participants will perform a final concert at the main hall of the Bunic – Caboga Villa, which will be advertised and open to public.
