More conferences in Dubrovnik this spring!

From the 7th to the 8th of April 2017, the fifth International OFEL Conference, which is the leading regional scientific conference on corporate governance and management, will be held in Dubrovnik. Hosted by the University of Dubrovnik; the theme will be ”Paradoxes of Leadership and Governance in the Postmodern Society” and will focus on the position and the role of leaders in the postmodern economy. OFEL 2017 offers a unique opportunity for scholars interested in the issues relating to leadership, management, governance, communication and entrepreneurship to share their thinking and latest research findings, states CIRU.

Involving 200 scientists and other experts from 27 countries worldwide, the emphasis of this conference will be on modern corporate governance and how leadership and management should be oriented around building sustainable competitiveness, as well taking into account sustainable development and reducing inequality for the interests of society in general. Keynote speakers for the conference, both of whom are respected authorities in the world of management and corporate governance, will be Marc J. Epstein, a professor at Rice University, Harvard University and INSEAD, and Marianne W. Lewis, professor and dean of London’s Cass Business School.

Several prominent antendees (to name just a few) will include Professor Darko Tipuric from Zagreb’s Faculty of Economics, David Ravassi from the Cass Business School (London), Frank Bezzina, Dean of the University of Malta, Lilian O.
