At the amazing location of the Korčula open-air theatre in the Korčula Old Town, surrounded by the medieval town walls and fortresses, a novel music event will be organized in Korčula for the first time this year, on Wednesday September 29, and it’s supposedly starting at 7 pm.
At the event called Lost in the Renaissance a band called The Fogsellers (this band name probably doesn’t make any sense to someone who doesn’t speak Croatian, but in Croatian a fogseller, person selling fog is someone blowing smoke up someone’s you-know-what, or pulling wool over someone’s eyes) will be performing. They are an electro-fusion band from Šibenik (Croatia) are one of the most respected new names on the regional dance music scene. Their debut album “Smooth simplicity” was released on the Street Pulse Records, and since the beginning of 2016 they have been touring constantly. Their musical-stage performances in theaters are not to be missed, as they are considered by many to be at the top of Croatian music performances. The band members are Mirko Rak (electro toys & bass), Saša Đurica Sale (drums) and Ivan Ković (guitar).
In addition to them, at the event you will be able to hear some music chosen for you by the duo Pepi Jogarde and Nick Colgan, the two DJ’s behind the acclaimed radio show Adriatic Coasting. The show is broadcast on Yammat FM, and is dedicated to delivering soothing adriatic tunes for you to get lost in. Nick Colgan’s name might sound familiar to regular TCN readers, and that’s because we have already written about him.
The tickets will be sold at the venue, and the price tag is 80 kuna, so if you’re into dance music and soothing tunes, there’s no excuse for you!
