Even the ones that really, really shouldn’t do it.
It’s one of those things that just happens, and later on you can’t really explain it, but it’s fun for everyone else:
A small car, Volkswagen UP with Zagreb licence plates (although, probably, driven by someone who rented it from a rent-a-car) ended up taking a swim at Dominče ferry port on Korčula today. It was probably a case of forgotten parking break, but whatever the story is, it resulted in a few great videos, posted on the pelješac.hr Facebook page.
The car is (surprisingly?) floating in the sea quite peacefully, people are trying to help, although I can’t say I understand why someone has not jumped in to help secure the rope around the little red car. We don’t know how the tale has ended, but one can only hope that the car wasn’t allowed to sink to the bottom, that they found to way to get it out – although it will probably not get back to Zagreb on its own, I’m afraid.
