As one would expect in such a paradise, the cuisine of Korčula is heavily dependent on its rich local and natural resources. From an abundant Adriatic to a wealth of fruits and vegetables, who quality tastes influence the restaurant menus of the island according to the season. As we are also learning in our Sweet Korčula series, there are more than 30 cakes and desserts made on the island according to the ancient recipes of Korčulan grandmothers.
