Every year, there is a great number of celebrities vacationing on Korčula, but this year a member of the Croatian national football team is the biggest star so far.
Dejan Lovren, along with his beautiful wife Anita and children joined their friend Enis Bešlagić on a yacht tour of the Dalmatian islands, and they took some time to enjoy the island of Korčula as well. They’re spending some of the time on the Spirit of the Sea rental yacht, and some of it on Korčula’s solid ground, where their children Elena, 5 and Josip, 3 and swimming and doing all of those things that kids do when they’re on the beach. Bešlagić is well known as being a regular guest on Korčula, as you can see in our article here.
Dejan has posted a short video with his friend, goofing around in the sea somewhere off Korčula, explaining how their heads are like two buoys, so they couldn’t drown no matter what.
Anita and Dejan Lovren have had rough few years, with news of infidelity in their marriage, which lead to Lovren not being able to participate in Euro 2016. After that, their homes were robbed – twice!, once in Liverpool where he plays and once in Zagreb. And of course, he’s also been in the centre of attention at the court proceedings against Zdravko Mamić, where he’s been a witness. It’s good to see the family spending time together again (wife Anita was noticeably absent for the amazing welcoming of the team in Zagreb after they’ve won the silver in Russia), and hopefully things will continue to improve for Dejan after what seems to be a dream vacation on Korčula.
