Split’s Brasserie on 7 and Zinfandel Food and Wine Bar return this summer with a completely new line of summer spritzers which have been especially created to perfectly battle Dalmatia’s summer heat, so forget all you know about the once watered down low quality white wine spritzers. The Zeven Gastronomy Group’s Brasserie 7 bartenders have been busy re-inventing old fashioned concepts and incorporating contemporary tastes with vintage flair. They have turned it up a notch with quality Dalmatian sparkling wine, gin, homemade syrups and fresh fruits.
For the ultimate experience they have teamed up with the Dalmatian wine producer, Grabovac. Grabovac sparkling wines are unique in the way the classic champagne method of secondary fermentation which takes place in the bottle is used. The sparkling wine is made from pinot grigio, pinot noir and chardonnay.
The motto of this summer is – Keep it fresh and simple. With the innovative and invigorating spritzer cocktail menu at both the Group’s establishments, the Brasserie on 7 and the Zinfandel Food and Wine Bar, it is a must this summer to try their unique take on the once refreshing classic spritzers. Whatever your preference our ‘new’ cocktails include a combination of evervescent flavours from bitter, sour or sweet.
The team’s favourites include the Aperol Sorbet Spritzer served in a vintage champagne glass with a scoop of homemade Aperol sorbet. For the more serious palette they recommend the Plum & Basil Smash or the B7 Spritzer including cucumber and rockmelon and it only seemed fair to add gin into the equation as It would be rude not to.
For the more fruity and flirty spritzer oriented consumers they recommend the Strawberry Bellini or the Sparkling French 7, which include tones of elderflower and grapes. Stay hydrated and fresh this summer… in style!
