The Weather Channel On Plitvice: Breathtaking

If you don’t have problems with driving, the most beautiful Croatian national park Plitvicka jezera can be a great weekend trip from Split. In any part of the year, whether it’s sunny or snow covers it completely this string of lakes is always spectacular, it’s not strange that it’s the one of the busiest Croatian tourist destinations. Also, it is the one that is the most written about. The latest contribution comes from The Weather Channel web site, with photo feature titled “Croatia’s Spectacular Plitvice Lakes Park”.

“With 16 linked lakes, dozens of waterfalls, brilliantly green forests and dark caves, the Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia is one of the most breathtaking destinations in the world. Named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979, the park attracts naturalists and hikers from across the globe,” says the world’s leading weather portal.
