Harbour in Kaštel Stari, or Porat as they call it here, is the location of this year’s edition of Eno Gastro Kaštela.
The event is organised by the Craftsmen Association of Kaštela, and along with live music, performances by various cultural societies you will also be able to taste various delicacies from Istria, Slavonia, Dalmatia, Zagora and Zagorje, all prepared by chefs from 17 different towns and regions in Croatia including Zagreb, Slavonske Požeg, Vrbovsko, Sisak, Pazin, Novi Marof, Ludbreg, Virovitica, Vrgorac, Viškovo, Karlovac, Vukovar, Rijeka, Split, Slavonski Brod, Varaždin and of course Kaštela (but they promised not to cook anything that includes lima beans this time). Try fuži or truffles from Istria, freshly grilled fish, kotlovina if you’re a real meat lover or Slavonski čobanac if you’re after something more spicy.
The event starts at 7 PM on Saturday and entry is free.
