Zagreb foodies can’t seem to get enough of burgers, and the offer really keeps getting more and more diverse – new types of meat, buns, and surprising combinations have turned the city into a burger paradise.
The latest addition to Zagreb burger scene opened at Preradovićeva – Meat District.
The menu, as the name suggests, is meat-based, but vegetarians and meat sceptics haven’t been ignored either. In addition to smoked or cheeseburgers, the restaurant offers their unique creation – Purger Burger, consisting of some of the most traditional Zagreb ingredients: turkey minced meat in kajzerica bun, with fresh cheese and cream with chive, radish and lamb’s lettuce.
The 120-metre-square space seats 50 people inside and an additional 70 on the terrace and it’s part of the Biberon chain of restaurants and pastry shops.
Burgers prices range from 35 to 79 HRK, and there are also New York-style hot dogs, salads and veggie burgers.
We all know that there’s always room for dessert, so you can grab a tiramisu or a mousse, if there’s still room in your stomach after you’ve eaten the burger.
