Led by the famous “A picture is worth a thousand words” expression as its motto, Lice grada (“the Face of a City”) is a website that takes you on a photo journey through Zagreb and brings the life from the streets straight to your screen.
Initially imagined as a simple Facebook pagein 2013, Lice grada has quickly gained popularity and it has now become a website that allows you to explore Zagreb in three categories: blog, photo stories (telling and showing stories about famous places around the city, as well as some hidden gems) and the original category that started it all, Lice grada, presenting Zagreb through the eyes of a photographer and a passerby, i.e. the site’s author, Ivan.
An additional section, Nove Zagrebulje, has been added recently. A Zagreb newcomer, Ivana Granić, tells her story of what it’s like coming to the big city and writes about her favourite landmarks, restaurants and books.
