Travel blog Happy to Wander, aka its owner Christina Guan – “the scaredy cat’s guide to adventurous escapes and independent travel” writes about how Zagreb took her breath away in a blog post you can read here.
“There are some places in the world that beg the question ‘where have you been all my life?’ For me, that would be Zagreb,” Christina writes.
She says that Zagreb has marvellous sights, an awesome cafe culture, lots of parks and green space, a lot of unique museums, food is A+, and, most importantly, you won’t feel like a tourist who’s out of place because there’s no dichotomy between the tourists and locals.
