Lavishly designed cafe, located at Vlaška 78, (re)opens its doors to the public.
Popular cafe has recently expanded and redesigned its interiors, preserving the dominant style of the old cafe, with many antique trinkets and frames hung up on the walls, reports Zagreb.info on October 3, 2017.
“Seeing that we love to design interiors and collecting antiques has been a family hobby and business for years, we have decided to combine our passions and love into a new story at a very special place – in our new cafe Finjak,” says Denis Svirag, the owner of the newly redesigned cafe. The new space abounds with a handful of beautiful decorative but functional elements, very casually and unpretentiously creating a pleasant atmosphere and a sense of space where everyone wants to spend their time in.
Visually lavish, the space eclectically combines many different styles, from Rococo, Baroque and Biedermeier to Art Nouveau, including various elements from the 1700s to the 1900s. The interior of the sophisticated old Zagreb setting is changing its ambience depending on the time of the day, from pastel tones in the morning to the warm tones with numerous chandeliers that decorate the ceilings in the evening. “It is important for our guests to feel that they can relax and enjoy their daily rituals in our cafe, while at the same time taking them on a journey to another time,” adds the owner of Finjak.
