Fund for Others is a program initiated by Zvonimir Dobrović and Bruno Isaković to raise money to support artistic and activist projects and education of individuals whose work and ideas offer an inspiration and empowerment within their own communities. Fund for Others is managed by Domino, a Croatian based NGO with 15 years of experience in producing and supporting international and local artists and activists.
Fund for Others program will be launched in May 2017 and it will support individuals and groups from Croatia and abroad.
Some of the projects they’re currently involved in include Performing Arts Summer School in Zadar, First Time in Croatia / USA artistic residencies for Croatian artists to spend some time in the USA and for American artists to spend some time in Croatia, and there are also a number of mentorship, curatorial and activist support programmes.
Zvonimir and Bruno believe that no donation is too small, so you can donate any amount you like via your PayPal account or by bank transfer.
There are currently four types of activities you can fund:
- AUCTION FOR OTHERS: Up to 30 items that include art works, collectible items of different sorts, unique experiences and surprises that will be auctioned off to provide means to continue our dedication to artistic and activist endeavours.
- FUN FOR OTHERS: Parties and events around the world for raising awareness and money for Fund for Others.
- LOVE FOR OTHERS: Couples can invite their guests to donate money instead of buying gifts and use their big day to support others.
- LIVE WELL FOR OTHERS: An innovative strand of fundraising for Fund for Others, currently still in development. The idea is that individuals can pledge a certain time during which they monitor their own expenses. For whatever period of time they choose (day, week, month, etc.) they pledge to donate whichever amount of money spent during that period for their own non-essential expenses. If you can afford an expensive bottle of wine in a restaurant, match that expense with a donation to Fund for Others and make a difference and make your own spending taste that much better
