It’s no secret that we appreciate wine at Total Zagreb and Total Croatia News (I myself am a mere enthusiast at a beginner level, but be sure to check out the amazing work some of the experienced pros have done here: Total Croatia Wine), so an event called Vinart attracted our attention immediately. Wine + art, what’s not to love?
Vinart is a small team of wine enthusiasts whose dream is to get Croatian wine the global recognition it deserves. They like telling stories behind the wines and they specialize in wine promotion and marketing, organization of events, workshops, reviews and publications, tastings and brand building.
Vinart Grand Tasting event takes place this weekend, February 25-26 (12-19 h) at Lauba. This promenade tasting of 100 selected wineries from Croatia is a great opportunity for you to try the best wines in Croatia, all at one place. Daily ticket costs 150 kn and it includes a 40 kn voucher for pop-up wineshop or a taxi ride, if you’ve had one too many glasses (or bottles) of wine from the shop.
There was a great interest in the festival after its big success last year, so this year the organizers decided to choose and invite the exhibitors themselves. You can rest assured that you will be drinking only top quality wine.
Find out more about the event on their Facebook page and website.
