World’s Most Venomous Snakes Exhibition Back in Zagreb

Total Croatia News

Čudesan svijet zmija (“The Magical World of Snakes”) project started with an exhibition in Zagreb in 2013 and the live snake exhibition has been on display every year since then, attracting more than 50,000 visitors. The exhibition took place in Zadar for the past two years and now it’s finally coming back to Zagreb, mojzagreb.info reported on March 31.

The Magical World of Snakes is one of Europe’s biggest private collections of exotic snakes. Its aim is to educate the public about these fascinating creatures and rid them of their bad reputation.
Some of the most famous types of snakes on display will include king cobra (male snake, Elvis, is 6 years old and 4 m long), black mamba, gaboon viper, rattlesnakes, and Gila monster, a species of venomous lizard.

The bravest visitors will be able to touch the snakes and hold some of the non-venomous kinds.

The exhibition will take place April 4 – June 2, 207; every day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Galleria Importanne, first floor.
