Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra plays themes from Star Wars scores in Lisinski Concert Hall
Youth Music Week is an annual manifestation organized by Jeunesses Musicales Croatia, a branch of an international youth-music association whose main goal is to encourage young people and children to engage with music.
This year, Youth Music Week turns into a spectacle inspired by “Star Wars”, a beloved sci-fi movie series that connects multiple generations. The show will take place in Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, where the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra will play the well-known “Star Wars” scores composed by John Williams. Musical themes will be accompanied by a screening of corresponding scenes from the movies.
The first two shows were played today at 9.30 AM and 11 AM, but you still have a chance to get a ticket for tomorrow, April 12th, at 9.30 AM, 11 AM or 7.30 PM. You can contact the box office at [email protected].
If for some reason you need a final incentive to go experience some of the best cinematic music in all its glory, take a look at John Williams personally conducting the main theme from Star Wars:
