According to the front page of today’s Vecernji List, plans to build a series of inter-connecting tunnels have been presented to the HDZ party and are now en route to Brussels in search of EU funding.
The bit that concerns Hvar the most is a proposed 13km tunnel to Brac from the mainland, followed by a 4km tunnel from Bol to Hvar. as the 13km is quite long and potentially claustrophobic, it is proposed that an artificial island is build halfway.
