With the main season behind us, one could think, there will be not much going on these days on the island. And although it is objectively quieter in September, there are still things to see and places to go around the island.
One example is the Hvar Summer Festival, which lasts until the end of October and is full of great events, concerts and performances (check out the program for September below).
Tonight, a violoncello-piano concert will take place at the Franciscan monastery, starting at 21:00.
Theo Bross on the violoncello and Ivana Štimac on the piano, they will be performing Mozart, Bach, Chopin, Ravel, Pejačević, Fauré, Saint-saens, Pärt, Piazzolla, Schubert and Falla.
Although the concert will be sponsored by the German Language and Culture at the Danube Area (Deutsche Sprache un Kulture Im Donauraum), the price is 75 kn/person (to be bought at spot before the concert),
